Milan1947. Unrepentant writer and cartoonist, journalist and TV author. Author of a large number of children’s science books, translated into 28 languages, including Arabic, Russian and Chinese. Author of strips for newspapers and periodicals, in 2001 he started Lampi di Genio ( Flashes of genius) , a series of biographies of great scientists, published in 26 countries and Rai television series, designed and conducted by Novelli himself. For the WWF he invented Professor Variety, for the environmental education campaigns on sustanibility. For the Ministry of Health/La7 he created a series of television mini- adverts against smoking and for correct nutrition. As director of the magazine Grafica & Design he promoted the idea of a Manifesto of the writers of the sign, inspired by Bruno Munari and Saul Steinberg.
